William Pearson

I first became interested in the sale of French property over 20 years ago when I was involved with another company which held a franchise with a large French estate agency network. I obtained detailed knowledge of French conveyancing from seminars, and then over the years learning from the agents whom we represent when visiting France. I am an overseas member of the National Association of Estate Agents and therefore bound by their rules of conduct.

The web site gives a selection of properties from most of the agents we represent, but by no means reflects the large number of properties available. Please ask if you require further information on, or more pictures of, any properties. If you do not see what you are looking for, we will try to find it for you, even if it is not in one of the regions currently represented. Let us know what you would like, where, and your budget.

PROPERTY LOCATIONS - descriptions do not normally give precise locations and reference to a town or village is likely to be the general area in which a property is situated. Depending on the terms of their agency agreement (mandat) with the owner and the strict regulations governing French estate agency, our French sources may or may not be willing to divulge the exact location.

LEASEBACK - this is a specialist market in which very few of our agents are involved. If you are interested, we will refer you to a specialist leaseback agent.

YOUR PROPERTY FOR SALE - we do not market and sell property without the co-operation of a French agent. Our information for vendors is available on request.

INFORMATION ON BUYING IN FRANCE - see the page Buying Guide. It contains advice and important general information on subjects such as conveyancing, as well as an extensive glossary of terms.

Under REGIONS & DÉPARTEMENTS, you will find regional notes reflecting impressions which I have put together with my wife following our many visits to France. For resident U.K. buyers, our brochures are available by post. Definitely not a substitute for the excellent books and travel guides available, but there is no charge!
